These terms apply to your use of the Yellow Jacket Tax Solutions website and the Yellow Jacket Tax client management app (the "App"). By using either one you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
Who may use the App
The App is provided for the team members of Yellow Jacket Tax Solutions and for our clients, who reach it through secure links we send them. Accounts are created or approved by us. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think your account has been used without your permission.
License
We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for the purpose it was provided: working with Yellow Jacket Tax Solutions. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or interfere with the App, try to access information you are not authorized to see, or use it to break the law.
Your information
You keep ownership of the information and documents you give us. You allow us to use them to provide our services and operate the App, as described in our privacy policy. Please upload only information you have the right to share, and keep what you send accurate and complete.
Tax services
Preparing a return or providing other services is covered by the engagement letter we sign with you, which controls if it differs from these terms. Our work depends on the information you provide. Nothing on this website or in the App is individualized tax, legal or investment advice until we have agreed to provide it in an engagement.
Third-party services
The App works with services run by other companies, including QuickBooks Online from Intuit. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
Availability
We work to keep the App running and secure, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". It may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance or for reasons outside our control, and we may change or discontinue features.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Yellow Jacket Tax Solutions is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the website or the App. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law or limits what our engagement letter says about our services.
Ending access
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or if needed to protect the App or our clients.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Continuing to use the website or App after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
